The truth about Perfection Fresh

Perfection Fresh supplies supermarkets such as Woolworths and Coles with fresh produce – everything from broccolini to your Calypso mangoes. However, behind their fresh fruit and veg, is a supply chain rife with exploitation.

Watch and share these farm workers’ stories to help get exploitation off your dinner plate.

This website is brought to you by the United Workers Union.

The United Workers Union (UWU) is the union for farm workers in Australia.  We represent over 150,000 workers from all walks of life.  Throughout our history, we’ve shown when working people come together, we win.

Many farm workers pick and pack the fruit and vegetables on Coles and Woolworths’ shelves. The supply chains of these supermarkets are rife with exploitation – visa insecurity, harassment, racial discrimination, and wage theft are common. Perfection Fresh is one of their key suppliers.

We are organising to shine a light on the horticulture industry in Australia and beyond. We have already won significant advancements through labour hire regulation, seasonal worker programs between Australia and Vanuatu, and our visa amnesty campaign.

Most importantly we are on the ground organising farms across the country to ensure farm workers are paid fairly and treated with respect.

STAND UP, FIGHT BACK.
